This is specifically for mustangs or unhandled domestic horses.
Upon completion each horse will understand basic BLM gentling requirements
Horse will:
Be able to be caught in a small pen
Understand the basics of leading and yielding to pressure
Stand tied
Load and back out of a trailer
Accept human touch for grooming
Pick up all four feet
Introduction to electric fences can be added for an additional $200.
Colt Starting

Groundwork with the saddle and +/- 45 rides
Horse will:

Be introduced to a bosal or snaffle bit

Walk/Trot/Canter under Saddle

Understand “Whoa” at all gaits

Steer/Bend/Circle

Ride outside of the arena
Horse will continue to progress and refine these cues and potentially more under saddle for the entirety of the training

Private Lessons with YOUR Horse

I like to take a hands-on approach with explanations of the why.
Lesson Options:

You work your horse and I will guide you

We can switch off between myself working and showing you exercises, and you practicing those exercises

* Haul In Lessons have a $10 cash arena fee
* Travel to you beyond 25 miles is $0.75 per mile.

"Quick Start"

For experienced horse people who just don’t want to put the first couple of rides on
Horse must already know basic groundwork.
Includes:

Desensitizing to saddling

Upon completion, horse will understand the basics of forward motion with a rider, and the beginnings of direct reining and “whoa”
